Happy Holidays!

Once again, we find ourselves at the turning of the year. What a year this has been -- from a historical election that brings diversity to the highest level of government to the downturn in the economy that has many wondering where we go from here.  As an organization that has suffered catastrophic change, we can understand the feelings that many people have right now.  We know that in the chaos that seems to be swirling in so many people’s lives right now, there is hope.  Change allows us the opportunity to re-evaluate our lives.  In some instances, it allows us to make changes that we might otherwise be afraid to make, such as moving to a new place or changing careers.  While the death phase can be scary, the rebirth can be miraculous.

As for Tapestry, we are moving forward on several programs.  Dawn is working on a book concerning our wildfire experience.  Carol is working on some beautiful art.  You can purchase items with her designs on them at her new Zazzle store, Earth Mosaics.  Just visit http://www.zazzle.com/earth_mosaics to find the perfect gift for that special someone…or treat yourself this holiday season! 

We are making some exciting changes to our programs.  As the times change, so does Tapestry.  Please visit our website in the upcoming week to see what new work we are embarking upon.
