The stars wheel their nightly circle about the North Star, over the stones and cliffs of Arches National Monument. The photo was taken by Geoffrey George and is used with permission. His title for the piece is "Polaris Borealis: Park Avenue, Arches National Park." He describes it as "The night sky over Arches National Park, looking due north through a cluster of rock formations colloquially called Park Avenue." It is a 1 hour, 5 minute exposure taken at f 3.5 on ISO 100 film. Please respect Mr. George's rights to this photograph and ask him for permission if you want to use it.
